On June 30 and July 1, 2023, Ambassador Designate Pham Quang Hieu paid a working visit to Nagano Prefecture, located in the North Central region of Japan.

The Governor of Nagano Prefecture welcomed Ambassador Designate Pham Quang Hieu at the provincial administrative office and chaired a meeting between the leaders of Nagano Prefecture and Ambassador Designate Pham Quang Hieu and the Embassy's delegation.

On the same day of June 30, Ambassador Designate Pham Quang Hieu chaired the Vietnam - Nagano connection seminar with the participation of 30 businesses of Nagano Prefecture that have already invested in Viet Nam or are are planning to invest and do business in Vietnam.
