Ambassador Vu Hong Nam paid a courtesy call to H.E. Prime Minister SUGA Yoshihide 

On October 15, 2020, Ambassador Vu Hong Nam paid a courtesy call to H.E. Prime Minister SUGA Yoshihide at the Prime Minister's Office, right before Prime Minister Suga's visit to Viet Nam from 18 to 20 October, 2020.

At the meeting, Ambassador Vu Hong Nam thanked Prime Minister SUGA for choosing Viet Nam as the first country to visit after taking office, and expressed appreciation towards the special sentiments that H.E. Prime Minister renders to the people and country of Viet Nam. 

Ambassador Vu Hong Nam underlined that H.E. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, among other high-level leaders, and the people of Viet Nam were looking forward to the visit of H.E. Prime Minister SUGA. Ambassador held such strong belief that the visit would be a great success and create a momentum for the Viet Nam – Japan relations. 

H.E. Prime Minister SUGA Yoshihide also hoped that the visit would bolster the friendship and cooperation with Viet Nam, thus opening up new directions for the bilateral cooperation in the future.
