On May 30 th , Ambassador Designate Pham Quang Hieu met with Governor Yamamoto Ichita of Gunma Prefecture at the Embassy of Viet Nam. The two sides discussed measures to promote the relations between Vietnamese localities, including promoting the relations between Tuyen Quang Prefecture and Gunma Prefecture. Both sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation in investment and trade, cultural and art exchanges, people-to-people exchanges and support for the Vietnamese community in Gunma Prefecture.
