OBITUARY NOTICE

The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Japan has the honour to inform, with deep sorrow and great sadness, that His Excellency Mr. Le Kha Phieu, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, passed away on 7th August 2020 at the age of 89.

The date of 14th and 15th August 2020 has been announced as National Days of Mourning in Viet Nam.

A Book of Condolences will be opened at the Embassy from 10:00-17:00 on 14-15 August, 2020.
